Honors

Award of Honors

Since the 2021-2022 academic year, KYCOM recognizes superior student achievement on transcripts with an Honors designation for any course in the which student achieves a 90% or higher final grade during their first and second years. Students will receive Honors designation if they earn a score of 90 or higher on all their clinical rotations during a term.

Students must be in good academic standing with no course or COMLEX board exam failures during the term under consideration to be eligible for Honors designation. Further, students on a partial/decelerated schedule or repeating a course previously taken are not eligible for Honors designation.

Graduation with Honors

Students will graduate with Honors if they earn a cumulative average of 90 or higher during Years 1-3. They will receive a certificate and honor cords to wear during commencement.
