A message from the Dean...

"Welcome to the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM).  We continue to honor our mission by remaining firmly committed to the founding mission while expanding our vision to provide primary care to underserved areas in Central Appalachia and beyond.  The incoming class of 2027 has a strong Kentucky representation and students from dozens of other states. As we prepare to begin this academic year, I assure you that our esteemed faculty and staff have been working tirelessly to ensure that you have a great experience at KYCOM.  The curriculum has undergone a significant transformation, which will be systems-based and has integrated case studies.

Our students are equipped with some of the best diagnostic equipment, stethoscopes, OPP treatment tables, iPads, books, and software.  KYCOM faculty maintain an open-door policy and are here to help our students succeed.

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I welcome you once again to the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Your presence enriches our academic community, and we are excited to witness your intellectual growth, personal achievements, and contributions to society.  Together, let us create a vibrant and transformative academic year that will shape your future and inspire generations to come.

Wishing you a truly memorable and fulfilling year ahead!”

Warm regards,
